In partnering with Aztec Learning Software and Data Recognition Corporation, Academic Foundations 365 provides students with the opportunity to better prepare themselves for studies in academics, certification programs specific to office technology, life-skills, employability skills and community and family reentry skills alike. 

Specific to his or her academic studies, which include the exam prep studies for the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), General Educational Development (GED), or the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET), this program is available to our students by way of distance learning, allowing them to engage in their studies using two-hour time blocks (per day) that fits within their schedule. (Note: HiSet is an alternative to the GED, and is not offered in all states, but federally recognized in all states). 

While testing costs for the GED and HiSET Exams vary state to state, costs for New Mexico are currently set at $80.00 ($20.00 per sub-test) and $43.00 ($10.75 per sub-test) respectively.  TABE  Testing Costs will range in costs based on Student needs (approximately $5.00 per student per subject area).

The long term payoff for such an investment can never be overstated. With these tools each Student will have the opportunity to step forward into a stable and solid future, thereby becoming effective contributing members to their families and communities.   

In addition to needs specific to Student Programs costs, It is the intent of Academic Foundations 365 to provide each of our students with a "student kit" tailored to meet his or her needs specific to the academic and/or vocational program the student may wish to pursue. The cost for each kit will range in price based on the program pursued and the academic entry level of each student (Academic Entry Levels are determined by Scale Scores generated on a Test of Adult Basic Education Exam. For more information specific to the TABE scoring procedures please do not hesitate to reach out to the Programs Administrator by way of the email link provided below). A listing of items contained in each kit have been noted below:   

"Student Kit" Contents (Approximate Cost Per Student:  $410.00)  

· Student Lenovo Chromebook  (*Note: Access to all sites not related to a Student's academic and/or vocational pursuits {as deemed necessary by the Program Administrator} will be restricted until such time that the Student has evidenced reasonable progress or completion of all academic / vocational coursework expected of him or her); ( Average Cost $200.00) 

· Academic / Vocational Study Guides specific to the needs of the Student's program of choice (Prices will vary based on the Student's academic, vocational, or continuing education pursuits, with average costs running $150.00)  

· TI 30XS Calculator (*Provided Only To Those Students Wishing To Pursue Their GED or HiSET) (Average cost; $40.00

· Flex-Hybrid Note Binder Starter Kit (Average cost; $20.00)
